Michael Page are recruiting for an experienced credit controller to work in a growing business that's market leading and innovative in it's field. This is a fast paced role working with high value, high volume accounts and is an integral role within the business moving forward

Client Details

Our client is a market leading and innovative client in it's field with a unique and bespoke approach to it's business development and growth. This is a newly created role, from continued growth and expansion and this role has significant opportunity and potential long term within the business

Description

  • Contacting customersto follow up on outstanding debts
  • Manage outstanding debt balances
  • Investigate accounts to resolve billing issues and arrange personalised payment plans
  • Setting up payment arrangements, encouraging direct debit payments
  • Engaging with customers to discuss and clarify their energy bills
  • Liaising with internal teams to provide updates and reports
  • Coordinating with debt collection agencies and managing debt allocation to agents

Profile

  • Previous experience in credit control
  • Previous experience in a consumer or domestic environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good numeracy
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with tenacity and drive
  • Ability to work effectively within a small team
