Job Title: Electronics Design Engineer (Analogue)

Location: Ware, Hertfordshire

Are you an experienced analogue electronics engineer looking to work with an innovative and forward-thinking company specializing in lighting control systems? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading UK manufacturer with a long-established reputation for designing environmentally friendly and cutting-edge products.

About the Role:As part of the Research & Development Team, you will collaborate closely with embedded software and mechanical design engineers to develop the next generation of lighting control products, LED drivers, and multi-sensors. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-equipped laboratory environment and contribute to innovative solutions in the field.

What We're Looking For:The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience in switched-mode power supplies, triac, IGBT, and MOSFET control.
  • Skills in design-for-manufacture/test, EMC testing, and multi-layer PCB layout (preferably using Altium).
  • Knowledge of custom inductor design.

Additional experience in RF systems, including 2.4GHz (e.g., Zigbee, Bluetooth) and sub-1GHz radio systems, is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronics design (preferred).
