Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join a team onsite in Stanstead Abbots. This is a key role for someone with 4-7 years of experience in assembly line work, who can ensure quality assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical products. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components and parts following engineering drawings.
- Test completed assemblies to verify correct functionality.
- Conduct basic maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Identify and replace any defective components in assemblies.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in assemblies.
- Follow health and safety regulations closely.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4-7 years of experience in assembly line operations.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Solid understanding of quality and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Additional Information: This role requires onsite attendance; remote work is not available. Candidates should be available to start immediately.
