Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 2:30 pm

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join a team onsite in Stanstead Abbots. This is a key role for someone with 4-7 years of experience in assembly line work, who can ensure quality assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical products. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components and parts following engineering drawings.
  • Test completed assemblies to verify correct functionality.
  • Conduct basic maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Identify and replace any defective components in assemblies.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in assemblies.
  • Follow health and safety regulations closely.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4-7 years of experience in assembly line operations.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  • Solid understanding of quality and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Additional Information: This role requires onsite attendance; remote work is not available. Candidates should be available to start immediately.
