We have an exciting opportunity to join a great client of ours as a GCMS Analyst
The key objectives of the role is utilising GCMS to analyse a variety of fragranced products. Interpreting GCMS data to produce formulations. Developing new analytical methods and libraries and mentoring junior members of the team.
Duties Include:
- Providing accurate analytical reports & products to the team in accordance with project priorities
- When necessary, to prepare and run samples on analytical instrumentation
- Maintenance & trouble shooting of analytical instruments
- Assist in developing new analytical methods
Skills desired
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of raw materials and essential oil composition
- Experience operating or maintaining Agilent or other GCMS systems
- Interest in chromatography and analytical techniques
- Interest in composition of odours or chemistry
- Numeracy skills
- Problem Solving Skills
