Our client is a well established logistics business who are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to work alongside the H&S manager. A newly created role, we’re looking for someone to champion Health and Safety across a number of sites for the business.

The main responsibilities:

  • Reporting any accidents and near misses, and writing up risk assessments for different areas of the business.
  • Completing regular audits with a mix of external auditors and internal teams, ensuring the business remains compliant with all safety legislation.
  • Provide specialist health and safety advice to line managers of all levels as required, both proactive and reactive.
  • Preparing and carrying out training covering all aspects of health and safety.
  • Actively work with the Health and Safety Manager on the development of an internal inspection programme as well as providing any recommendations for prevention of accidents and near misses.

The ideal candidate will want to develop and learn, be enthusiastic and process driven.
