We are recruiting for a temporary SEND Lecturer to work at Hertford Regional College to help deliver an outstanding learner experience and be inspirational to students at our state of art facilities in Ware.

About The Role

As a lecturer for students with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) that range from profound to moderate learning disabilities and/or difficulties, you will report directly to the Curriculum Area Manager. You will be responsible for delivering life skills across our provision incorporating key curriculum areas and developing the independent living skills our young people need to make a successful transition into adult life. This will include the development of Vocational/Work Skills, Community Inclusion and Health and Wellbeing. This will also include dedicated and integrated Entry Level Functional Skills (English, Maths and ICT) throughout the curriculum.

We are seeking an experienced life skills lecturer for students with special educational needs and/or disabilities. You will have a demonstrable ability to achieve student success in preparing for adulthood.
