We are thrilled to be recruiting for this established, friendly and industry leading business in Ware who are seeking a conscientious, hard working and organised new employee to join their team as soon as possible!

A heavily organisation and schedule focused role, the successful applicant will be able to combine their ability to problem solve, alongside some experience leading a team with an efficient and organised administrative background to enjoy this rounded opportunity.

A calming, but confident and logical approach to communicating with people both internally and externally, with proven background in a similar role would certainly be essential - the role has a seriously proactive side, with the forward planning to spot problems and risks before they happen, dealing with all transport and logistics queries, routing, planning and scheduling for your specific geography.

Key duties include:

  • Rota management for a team of drivers, ensuring resources are optimally allocated.
  • Work closely with other departments in the business, including Projects, Shipping, Customs and Warehouse teams.
  • Planning routes and scheduling delivery teams for both domestic and European routes.
  • Monitoring driver hours and maintaining accurate records as well as ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Providing support to drivers whilst they are out on the road, whilst allocating adequate cover for workloads at all times.

  • Providing customers with quotes on both domestic and international transport, alongside building long-term relationships with clients.
