Our client, a reputable Quantity Surveying consultancy based in Ware, is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing full-time team. The successful candidate will engage in a broad spectrum of projects-ranging from groundworks to interior fit-outs-across both commercial and residential sectors, with budgets spanning 25k to 10M. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience working in a client-side or main contractor capacity, live within commutable distance of Ware, hold a valid driving licence, and be willing to undertake travel as necessary.

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview
* Preparing and using cost data derived from the plans and drawings
* Working both client-side and assisting main and subcontractors
* Producing estimates, budgets and cost plans
* Undertaking value engineering, comparative design studies
* Preparing and interpreting turnover and cash flow projections
* Providing cost control during pre-contract
* Advising on different forms of contract and procurement routes

Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years' Quantity Surveying experience (Main contractor or client-side)
* Experience managing junior staff desirable
* Strong ability to communicate with clients and subcontractors
* Open to Assistant Quantity Surveyors looking for a step up
* Experience working on both high-end houses and smaller scale self-build developments (1 - 50) units preferable
