PROPERTY MANAGER-urgently required My new client is an award-winning estate agency and part of Europe’s largest estate agency group. We're looking for a dynamic PROPERTY MANAGER to join their Lettings team based at their beautiful HQ in Little Hadham, near Bishops Stortford. This is a critical role in maintaining their growing portfolio and ensuring their clients and tenants receive exceptional service.This role is initially for maternity cover but it will lead to permanent if you are strong candidate who has contributed & shown your worth. The client has the capacity as a business to bring you on. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage your own portfolio of properties (100-150), ensuring they are well-maintained and tenancies are sustained.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
  • Arrange and oversee maintenance and repair work, ensuring prompt and quality service.
  • Handle tenancy renewals and manage any arrears effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, arranging safety inspections, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Conduct regular property inspections, ensuring properties meet the required standards.
  • Handle end-of-tenancy checkouts, including deposit returns and any disputes.
  • Provide fast, accurate, and efficient administrative support within a dynamic environment.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in property management, with a solid understanding of the lettings process.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a strong problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent administrative, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems. (a Reapit User would be preferable)
  • A team player who can also work independently, managing their own portfolio.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own car for property inspections.
