LDD Learning Support Worker - Temporary - Full time or Part Time - Broxbourne - £14.26 per hour
We are recruiting a temporary LDD Learning Support Worker to work at Hertford Regional College to help deliver an outstanding learner experience and be inspirational to students at our state of art facilities in Ware.

About The Role
The LDD Learning Support Worker will enable learners with behavioural, physical, sensory, cognitive learning difficulties and or disabilities.
Main responsibilities include:
- Enabling learners with identified learning difficulties to access the college environment to reach their full potential.
- Empower learners to access the curriculum in accordance with their support plan/learning differences and needs
- Liaise with other Support Workers, Learning Support Co-ordinator and Profilers and Mentors to identify areas of concern regarding learners
- Enable learners to manage behaviour where identified as a barrier to their learning
- Follow guidance and direction from class tutor / learning environment manager to effectively support learners
- Ensure all learners have fair access to learning

Successful candidates will possess experience of working in learning support, display excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, an enthusiasm for promoting independence for young people, a commitment to the well-being of all learners and a passion for constantly improving their learning experience. We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about enabling learners with identified learning differences to access the college environment, to include academic support, pastoral support and communication for learners to realise their potential.
