- Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
- Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, office based
- Work Pattern: Monday – Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm with an early finish on Friday
Technical Sales Engineer - About our client:
OA are representing a UK based electrical manufacturer, looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their growing team in Ware.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone experienced within a Technical Sales setting and good knowledge of electronics or a related field.
Technical Sales Engineer - Responsibilities:
- Handling queries and orders from existing client base
- Producing quotations from drawings and specifications
- Negotiating terms with new customers
- Processing orders, raising delivery notes, invoices & statements
- Coordinating deliveries and chasing
- progress on production
- Attending customer site visits
- Liaising across teams to coordinate smooth process from invoiced order through to delivery
- Attending trade exhibitions in the UK and overseas
Technical Sales Engineer - What We’re Looking For:
- Full UK drivers’ licence
- Previous experience in a Technical Sales role, ideally within Electrical sector or networked systems (fire alarms, door safety/security systems, etc)
- Technical qualification such as City & Guilds in Electrical installation or ONC would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills including MS Office
