Our client based on the outskirts of Ware is recruiting a Part-Time Warehouse Operative to join their friendly and busy team. This is a temp to pern position and the successful candidate will be required to work 5 - 6 hours per day (i.e., 9am/9.30am - 2.45/3pm Monday - Friday) Term time only. The role offers an hourly rate of £11.44 which will be increasing to £12.21 from the 1st April.

Due to the location of our client, candidates must have their own mode of transport.

Forklift experience desirable

Tasks & Responsibilities

It will be your job to receive, pick, create, pack sort and ship parcels.

Offloading goods from vehicles or sorting.
Bringing items into the building and checking what has been received from suppliers.
Placing stock in a specific place until they are ordered by a customer.
Production: applying logos (heat transfer & embroidery) onto garments, bespoke kit packing and assembling of some products
Picking: selecting items for a customer order.
Packing: packing the items to be shipped to a customer
Shipping: preparing freight for dispatch and loading vehicles.
Clean & tidy: working together to ensure the warehouse environment is clean and tidy and a safe place to work in.
