Our client based on the outskirts of Ware are recruiting a Part-Time Warehouse Operative to join their friendly and busy team. This is a permanent position, however if candidates are available immediately this position is Temporary to Permanent. The successful candidate will be required to work 5 - 6 hours per day (i.e., 9am/9.30am - 2.45/3pm Monday - Friday) Term time only. The role offers an attractive hourly rate of £11.44, plus good benefits including a generous company bonus scheme.

Due to the location of our client, candidates must have their own mode of transport.

Warehouse Operatives are at the heart of what the company does…from the moment an order is placed to the moment it is in the customer’s hands - it will be your job to receive, pick, create, pack, sort and ship parcels. Tasks & Responsibilities

It will be your job to receive, pick, create, pack sort and ship parcels.

The job includes (but not limited to) the following responsibilities:

Offloading goods from vehicles or sorting.
Bringing items into the building and checking what has been received from suppliers.
Placing stock in a specific place until they are ordered by a customer.
Production: applying logos (heat transfer & embroidery) onto garments, bespoke kit packing and assembling of some products
Picking: selecting items for a customer order.
Packing: packing the items to be shipped to a customer
Shipping: preparing freight for dispatch and loading vehicles.
Clean & tidy: working together to ensure the warehouse environment is clean and tidy and a safe place to work in.

You may also be given additional or different tasks as part of your day-to-day job.
