Assistant Financial Accountant

Salary: 34,000 - 38,000
ARM are currently recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join one of our clients in Dorset.
The Assistant Financial Accountant is a valuable member of the team who is responsible for the coordination and delivery of external regulatory reporting and to support the group finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of the statutory accounts
- Assist in the preparation of all the group's entity VAT returns
- Support finance reporting
- Prepare relevant balance sheet reconciliations
- Coordinate the monthly journal review process
Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE or A-level standard
- Degree education or AAT level three or above would be an advantage.
- Part-qualified member of or studying towards a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) is desirable.
- The role is suitable for a part qualified accountant, or in the absence of professional qualifications three years of relevant experience
- Experience working as part of a financial reporting team
