Are you an experienced accountant looking for a role where you can make a real impact?I am working with a brilliant housing association which provides quality, affordable homes to thousands of people across England. They are currently on the lookout for their next Development Accountant, this role has become available due to some recent growth within the finance team.

As a Development Accountant, you'll be managing a team of two whilst delivering the innovative financial services and robust reporting for the development business. You'll also reconcile development costs to provide accurate cash flow forecast, support cash flow preparation and analysis for group loans and peak debt management including developing financial reports and performance analysis for commercial and development activities. This is more than just a job, it's a chance to contribute to a meaningful cause. What You need to be successful:

  • Qualified Accountant (member of either CIMA, ICAEW, ACCA, or equivalent CCAB body).
  • Strong management accounting and budgeting experience, including reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders.
  • Housing sector experience (particularly development accounting).
  • Ability to successfully manage a talented team
