My client are recruiting for the position of Assistant Management Accountantlocated in Wareham to cover a 12-month maternity leave.

Your new role
Reporting to the Management Accountant and supporting the Management Accounts team, you will assist by handling budget preparation.and monitoring, processing financial entities and generating monthly accounts.Key duties will include assisting with management accounts, postingmonthly journals, analysing financialdata, supporting budget holders, ensuring accurate billing, and maintainingcompliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the role will includecompleting balance sheet reconciliations, managing the fixed asset register,and conducting fixed asset audits.

What you'll need to succeed

GCSE Maths and English A*-C
You will be AAT Qualified in orworking towards AAT or similar qualifications
Experience working as part of aFinance team in a finance role
Strong experience of working with computerised accounts systems and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook,Excel, Word)
You need to have a dynamic andproactive approach to your work
You'll need excellentcommunication and team working skills, with the ability to build relationshipswith the wider finance team and non-financial teams.
