Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant (TA) to become part of a committed school community in Bovington. Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will:
- Work alongside teachers to support the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons.
- Provide individual or small group assistance to students requiring extra support.
- Help prepare and organise classroom materials and learning resources.
- Encourage positive behaviour and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with additional needs.
- Participate in school-wide activities, trips, and events as needed.
Requirements:
To excel as a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will need:
- Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
- A genuine desire to work with children and help them succeed academically and personally.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient, adaptable, and proactive attitude to overcome challenges.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred but not mandatory).
- A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
