Tradestech are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager / Supervisor to oversee the construction and removal of earthworks on an important environmental scheme near Wareham. This is a critical project where the Site Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and successful delivery of the works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Site Manager will lead all operations related to earthworks, ensuring that every stage of the project is completed efficiently and to high standards.
  • The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the construction and removal of earthworks, ensuring that all site activities are carried out safely and in line with project requirements.
  • As Site Manager, you will coordinate the daily activities of site staff, manage resources, and ensure all tasks are completed on time.
  • The Site Manager will ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards and will take ownership of site safety protocols, ensuring that all workers are following best practices.
  • A key responsibility for the Site Manager will be the completion and management of project paperwork, including quality assurance (QA) documentation, ensuring accurate records are maintained throughout the project.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager on Civils or Earthworks schemes is essential.
  • The Site Manager must have excellent organisational skills, with a focus on managing paperwork, quality control, and safety processes.
  • A valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification is required for the Site Manager role, along with a valid CSCS card.
  • The successful Site Manager will also need Emergency First Aid certification to ensure quick response to any onsite incidents.
