- Manage a caseload of children, providing therapeutic interventions to meet their developmental needs.
- Conduct assessments and create personalised treatment plans that deliver the best outcomes.
- Work closely with local authorities and healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
- Advise on paediatric equipment and housing adaptations to enhance children’s independence.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatments, and progress.
- Engage with families, educating and supporting them in implementing therapy strategies at home.
- A qualified Occupational Therapist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working with children and within local authority frameworks.
- Strong understanding of paediatric equipment and housing adaptations.
- The ability to manage caseloads independently while working effectively as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s licence and access to a car for client visits.Ideally based in Dorset, preferably in the western region.
