GSL Education are looking for a passionate Education Support Worker to join a friendly and supportive school in Wareham. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students, providing individualised support to help them thrive academically and personally. As an Education Support Worker, you will collaborate with teachers to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, ensuring every student receives the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed.

Responsibilities of the Education Support Worker:

  • Provide individual and small-group support to students.
  • Assist in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Support students with their learning and development needs.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a nurturing learning environment.


Requirements of the Education Support Worker:

  • Experience working with children or young people (desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and supportive approach to working with students.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
