Location: Bovington
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 Annually (MPS/UPS) (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate / April 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you enthusiastic about English literature & language and passionate about teaching? If so, GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Tutor to join a vibrant educational environment in Bovington.

As an English Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, supporting students in achieving their academic potential, and promoting a love for learning. Your expertise will help guide students through the curriculum and build strong foundations in literacy and language skills.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students at various levels.
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to raise attainment levels.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a bonus.
• Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• A strong passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
• Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
• A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
