Your new companyA successful local developer focussed on the mid to high-end private market now seek an experienced site manager to oversee a new scheme in the Caterham area starting imminently. Working across East Surrey and West Kent projects they are known for producing quality high-end units, typically on site of unto 30 units. Based in Mid-Kent, they have an extremely stable workforce and rarely recruit. Due to several new projects and a strong pipeline they are now in a position to expand the team on a permanent basis.The new scheme consists of 18 new build apartment's, traditional build, all for private sale. Groundworks will be commencing in the coming weeks with site setup just completed.Your new roleAs site manager, you will be no.1 on site and have full control of the project day to day with the support of a visiting contracts manager and an office-based commercial team. You will oversee all subcontract management and direction, Health and safety oversight, Quality control, client liaison and generally anticipating any addressing any potential delays in regards design or procurement. What you'll need to succeedYou will be an experienced site manager with clear evidence of delivering small to medium residential schemes as a number one, You will have managed schemes through the full life cycle of the project and be comfortable working as sole site manager. You will have worked on traditional build schemes, ideally with some private developer experience, and hold valid First Aid, CSCS & SMSTS QualificationsWhat you'll get in returnThis is a permanent role offering a salary upto £60000 p/a + travel allowance.
