Job Title: Project Administrator

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 DOE

Location: Warlingham

Hours: 8:00-16:00 / 9:00 - 17:00 including 1 hours paid lunch

The Role:

As a Project Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting construction project managers, ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations and project coordination. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Success in this position relies on accuracy, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to following processes and procedures consistently to keep projects on track.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers and the wider team.
  • Prepare and distribute key project documents, including contracts, purchase orders, and schedules.
  • Manage project correspondence, such as emails, memos, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all project files are up to date.
  • Track and log project changes, updates, and progress.
  • Facilitate communication between team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings and appointments.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely material deliveries.
  • Assist in budget tracking and preparing financial reports.
  • Process invoices, expenses, and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy.
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones, flagging potential delays.
  • Support the implementation of health and safety procedures across projects.

About You:

The ideal Project Administrator must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction administration or a similar role. They should be a proactive self-starter with strong planning and decision-making skills to provide effective support. This role requires collaboration with project managers, hospitality managers, and subcontractors, making teamwork and communication skills essential.
