Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join them on a full-time Temporary basis over the next coming months. Due to the urgency of this position, you must be available to start immediately.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 FTE

Location: Caterham

Start: ASAP - until the end of January 2025

Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5.30pm - 30-minute lunch

What will your working week be like?

You will need to be a confident and pro-active individual to manage the substantially automated end to end collection process to include:

  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are received in a timely manner.
  • Process and send out monthly statements to customers.
  • Post daily cash bank transactions with precision.
  • Keep the Aged Debtor report up to date, providing clear visibility on account statuses.
  • Address and resolve any payment discrepancies, disputes, and billing issues that arise.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of customers’ payment histories and communication logs.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the company’s credit insurance policy, safeguarding our financial interests.

Who will this role suit?

  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage customer interactions.
  • A modern approach to credit control, with a proactive and positive 'can-do’ attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to stay organised and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Sage Line 50 and Sage Intacct desirable.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel to manage and analyse financial data.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller/Accounts professional to provide interim cover, during this exceptionally busy time.
