What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Hardware Engineer, you will be at the heart of designing and building cutting-edge hardware that powers the next generation of smarter and safer environments for our cities. This is your chance to bring revolutionary ideas to life, working alongside an enthusiastic and creative team. You’ll collaborate with third-party manufacturers and support installation teams to bring intelligent technology to life across multiple cities. From concept to deployment, you’ll play a key role in making cities smarter and more connected.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Innovate & Design: Collaborate with the Design Team to create groundbreaking hardware solutions.
  • Manufacture & Implement: Work closely with third-party manufacturers to turn your designs into reality.
  • Support Deployment: Guide installation teams in deploying hardware across urban landscapes, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop production test plans to ensure the highest standards are met by third-party manufacturers.
  • Tech Savvy: Utilise a wide range of sensors and IoT devices to enhance city infrastructure.

What You Bring:

  • A degree in Electronics or a related Engineering field.
  • A valid UK driving licence to provide on-site support to installers.
  • Expertise in SBC designs, like Odroid and Nvidia chipsets.
  • Experience with mechanical design and on-street installation.
  • Familiarity with various sensors and IoT devices.
