Position: IFA Administrator

Location: Caterham, Surrey (2 days per week working from home)

Salary/package: £38,000 + bonus + 25 days' AL + pension (5%, 5%) + study support + IP + DIS + career progression

YOUR NEW COMPANY:

Our client is a well-established, award-winning IFA firm based in Caterham, Surrey. The company has significant plans to grow over the next 12 months and has just began its search for an experienced IFA Administrator to join its rapidly-expanding Administration team. The IFA Administrator position allows for hybrid working, with the successful candidate working from home 2 days per week.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the firm’s Head of Administration, the IFA Administrator's key duties will include:

Data Entry and Processing:

Input and process financial data into the company’s systems with precision and efficiency.

Data Validation: Verify the accuracy of financial data inputs to ensure that records are up-to-date and comply with Company requirements and UK regulations.

Reporting: Generate reports, summaries, and data extracts as required by various teams, including compliance, and operations.

Data Auditing: Regularly audit data for errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies and work to correct them promptly.

Transaction Processing: Handle and process financial transactions such as income payments, switches, withdrawals, transfers and adjustments in line with internal controls.

Data Management: Ensure the CRM system is kept up to date with current accurate information.

Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all data handling practices comply with UK financial regulations (e.g., FCA, GDPR) and company policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates interested in the IFA Administrator vacancy will have the following criteria:

  • Minimum 2 years’ IFA administration experience
  • Strong platforms knowledge (essential) e.g. Aviva, Standard Life Aberdeen/Elevate
  • Experience of using XPlan ideal

REMUNERATION / PACKAGE:

The package for the IFA Administrator role is as follows:

  • Up to £38,000 salary (depending on experience)
  • 25 days' annual leave
