The RoleThe firm is seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their experienced team in Warlingham. This full-time, permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a solicitor/ Legal Executive with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to manage a diverse and high-quality caseload. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice in private client law, including wills, probate, estate administration, and lasting powers of attorney. The role is ideal for a solicitor or Legal Executive who is confident working independently, yet keen to contribute to the growth and development of the firm's private client department by nurturing existing client relationships and generating new business opportunities.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Private Client Lawyer, you will manage your own caseload, dealing with a broad range of matters within private client law. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling all aspects of estate administration, including probate, inheritance tax planning, and trust creation.
  • Drafting and advising on wills and powers of attorney, ensuring that clients receive clear, comprehensive advice tailored to their individual circumstances.
  • Managing the affairs of elderly clients, providing advice on estate planning and ensuring their wishes are fulfilled.
