NextGen Teachers are currently working in partnership with a two-form entry Primary School in Caterham who are seeking to recruit a full-time Key Stage 1 Class Teacher.

This school pride themselves on their ability to inspire young learners, and provide a dynamic and fulfilling environment for all their children. You will be a key member of the school, working predominantly with Year 2 but with the chance to be involved in other areas also.

Day to day you will be:

  • Planning and delivery quality lessons
  • Maintain discipline and behaviour
  • Ensure your teaching reflects and identifies all abilities and SEN children
  • Encourage children to take pride in their work
  • Give children a safe and comfortable setting
  • Communicating with parents
  • Promoting the well-being of all children
  • Participating in wider school activities

Teachers applying for this position MUST have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in the UK
  • Ideally both ECT years completed
  • Experience teaching in Year 2 and upwards
  • Extensive experience with the KS2 Curriculum
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
  • 2x professional references
