Property Maintenance Administrator - Surrey

A well known lettings company in the area are looking for someone to join the property management team, as a property maintenance administrator.

Role Overview:

As a Property Maintenance Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing property maintenance requests, ensuring that repairs and maintenance issues are handled efficiently and professionally. You will act as the key liaison between landlords, tenants, and contractors to ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling incoming maintenance requests from tenants and landlords, logging issues accurately, and prioritising urgent repairs.
  • Liaising with the property management team and approved contractors to arrange necessary repairs and maintenance work.
  • Keeping landlords and tenants updated on the progress of maintenance issues.
  • Ensuring all maintenance work is completed within a timely manner and in line with company standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance requests and completed work within the system.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including gas safety, electrical checks, and general property upkeep.
  • Providing excellent customer service, handling queries efficiently, and problem-solving where necessary.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in property maintenance administration, lettings, or property management is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset with great attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of property maintenance processes and lettings legislation is an advantage.
Hours:
  • Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Every other Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
