Assistant Management Accountant

If you're AAT Level 4 qualified or working towards your ACCA or CIMA qualifications, this role is a fantastic chance to complete your studies while diving deeper into the world of Management Accounts. Supporting the Financial Controller you'll be at the heart of their financial operations, helping keep things accurate and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accruals and prepayments
  • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Forecast cash flow
  • Prepare payroll for external accountants
  • Handle sales and purchase ledger operations, including invoice generation, account reconciliations, and supplier payments
  • Conduct credit control and cash management
  • Process credit card transactions, staff expenses, and receipts
  • Provide financial assistance across all business areas
  • Maintain and manage the Accounts inbox correspondence

What we're looking for

  • AAT Level 4 Qualification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, with excellent time management
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 or similar software
