Job Purpose

  • Assisting on audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance at every step
  • Directly reporting to Managers and Directors
  • Building strong relationships with clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving
  • Delivering a strong understanding of risk management during audits, with a critical eye to ensure accuracy
  • Keeping up to date with audit regulations and emerging trends that could impact the audit function
  • Coaching junior staff by reviewing work and skill-sharing across the department
  • Managing your own workload autonomously, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met

Job Requirements

  • ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or studying
  • Good working knowledge of relevant software including Xero, SAGE and MS Office
  • Excellent understanding of UK GAAP/FRS 102
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
  • A team player who is eager to support the wider team
  • Ability to build enhanced relationships with clients and colleagues alike
