In-House Tax Accountant / Manager – Warrington - £55,000 to £65,000 + Bonus and Benefits – Hybrid role

Our client is a large services provider based in Warrington and we are seeking a Tax Accountant / Manager to bolster a talented existing team.

Working with a talented Head of Tax this new and exciting post will help shape the way tax is delivered to the group and play a pivotal part in the growth of the business.

The Role :

  • Prepare tax computations
  • Co-ordinate the tax planning process
  • Manage the tax cash flows, via monthly review and as part of the annual budgeting process
  • Liaise with the external advisors
  • Prepare VAT returns
  • Submit intrastat returns
  • Ensure payments are made in respect of all taxes
  • Technical review and preparation of the UK Group’s CFC report, CIR calculations and capital allowances claims.
  • Ensure the UK Group is compliant with Making Tax Digital.
  • Support the Tax Manager for annual external audit process
  • Forecasting for all tax aspects in terms of liabilities and cash flows

Ideally you will hold a professional accountancy qualification – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CTA with the ability to be to work autonomously and being able to work to key deadlines. The ability to build working relationships internally and externally is essential.
