Management Accountant opportunity working within the Not for Profit sector in Liverpool. As part of this role you will join a finance team who are part of a larger and growing organisation with exciting plans on the horizon.

To be successful in the role you will have relevant and up to date experience in a varied Senior Finance Officer, Assistant Management Accountant background, ideally within the not for profit/ public sector industry. You will have proven ability to learn new finance tasks and excellent customer service skills when dealing with budget queries.

Description
Duties and tasks of the Management Accountant:
- Responsible for the production of month end close process
- Management accounts budget preparation and forecasting
- Detailed KPI and variance analysis with commentary
- Preparation of financial summary and create packs for the Board
- Payroll journals and control account reconciliations
- Assist with internal and external audit
Profile
Experience required as the Management Accountant:
- Experience in discussing budgets and forecasts and presenting figures to senior managers
- AAT Level 4 studier or working towards CIMA/ ACCA
- Excellent communication skills
- Desirable - experience in the not for profit, public sector company or keen to enjoy working for a values led organisation
