My client, a leading global engineering company, are looking to hire a Management Accountant to join their brand new head office in Warrington. This would be the perfect opportunity for an ACA audit-trained accountant looking for a more rounded finance role, or an industry trained accountant looking for a move into a fast-paced and high calibre team.

What you'll do:

Produce timely & accurate production of all management accounts and monthly reporting (local & group) to all agreed formats and timetables.
Deliver SG&A overheads reviews with key business partners.
Analyse financial data to identify and resolve any issues and explain variances from budget or forecast.
Ensure robust financial controls within the financial systems.
Identify and make recommendations on system and control improvements.
Ensure balance sheet is fully reconciled and reviewed every month end.
Build strong internal relationships, support cost centre managers and Finance Business Partners.
Drive continuous improvement, document financial processes, lead ad-hoc projects to enhance reporting efficiency.

What you bring:

ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualification +1/2 years post qualification experience.
Experience managing a small team is desirable but not essential.
Ability to handle wide variety of complex issues.
Excellent people and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Technical competence, eye for detail, analytical thinking, commercial awareness.
Proactive, ambitious and hard-working.
