We are seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join a high-growth global business based in Warrington. Reporting to the Group FC, you will also be responsible for the management of 1 Assistant Accountant - so a perfect opportunity for someone looking to develop their management experience.

The RoleAs a Management Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in the finance team, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of management accounts and providing valuable insights to support key business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts and group reporting for multiple legal entities.
  • Driving reviews and developing reporting packs for business partners.
  • Analysing financial data to explain variances and support decision-making.
  • Ensuring robust financial controls and making recommendations for process improvements.
  • Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations and leading monthly reviews.
  • Mentoring and developing assistant accountants, creating a pipeline of future talent.
  • Supporting audits and assisting with tax and treasury functions.
  • Leading projects related to acquisitions, finance transitions, and process enhancements.

What We're Looking ForTo thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualification with 1-2 years post-qualification experience.
  • A proven ability to manage a wide variety of complex financial issues.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to build relationships across the business.
  • Analytical thinking and commercial awareness to provide actionable insights.
