Are you a Part Qualified or Qualified Management Accountant stagnating in a role offering no prospects for development and progression? This is an excellent Management Accountant opportunity with a well-established civil engineering business based on the outskirts of Warrington in a role with a clearly defined path to becoming Financial Controller. Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare monthly management accounts for the group and its subsidiaries.
- Variance analysis and commentary for review by the Group FC.
- Finance Business Partnering.
- Project / Work in Progress reporting.
- Supporting with Budgeting and Forecasting.
- Cash flow forecasting .
- Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Lead on cost control initiatives, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- VAT Returns.
- Assisting with system improvements and process automation.
- Managing a small ledger team.
Applicants will ideally be ACCA/ACA or CIMA qualified - or later stage studiers actively working towards full qualification - although non-qualified finance professional with the relevant experience will also be considered. Salary to £45k (Possibly some flexibility) with benefits including 3% pension, 21 days holidays, 0830-1700, onsite parking. Applicants from both industry and practice will be considered.
