Client Details
We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for our client based in Appleton Thorn, Warrington who specializes in the facilities industry. The Management Accountant works alongside 2 other Management accountants providing support to the Financial Controller and Director of Finance. This role will play a key part in enhancing the organization's financial planning, decision-making, and control processes while strengthening overall financial expertise.
Description
- Costing: Conduct cost and material analyses, manage and report on costs, and implement control techniques to enhance financial efficiency.
- Accounting: Ensure accurate financial transaction recording to support business performance, financial position, and cash flow management.
- Projects: Contribute to transformations and control projects to improve profitability, collaborating across departments in a multicultural team.
- Management Accounts: Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and KPIs to provide financial performance insights.
- Reconciliation: Verify internal transactions against external data to ensure accuracy and reliability in financial reporting.
- Audit Support: Support third-party audits to maintain data accuracy and compliance, ensuring stakeholder confidence.
- Forecasting: Develop performance forecasts and provide insights to inform business strategies and financial decisions.
Profile
- CIMA or ACCA Finalist
- Manufacturing experience is an advantage, but a genuine interest in the industry is also valued.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, with SAP being an advantage.
- Proficient in Excel.
Job Offer
- Bonus - profit share scheme up to 10% per annum
- Pension contribution is 5%.
- Annual leave - 25 days plus holidays.
- Hours are 08:30 - 17:30 but flexible in terms of people coming in early / fish early etc.
- 45k to 55k DOE
