Tax Advisor

We are seeking a qualified Tax Advisor to join our established in-house tax team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for both seasoned professionals and those looking to transition from practice into industry. You will be involved in corporate compliance, reporting, and a variety of advisory projects, with opportunities for career development and skill enhancement.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Prepare corporate tax reporting and compliance computations including group external reporting, company business plans, and regulatory plans and accounts.
  • Assist the Tax Manager and Head of Tax along with the legal team on a wide variety of transactions.
  • Engage in tax modelling and forecasting of tax payable and profits/losses as required.
  • Contribute to and assist with systems implementation and the integration of new technology solutions and processes.
  • Provide ad hoc advice to the business as required.
  • Support the business on employment tax technical matters.
  • Assist in tax risk and governance matters as required, including SAO.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year's post-qualified experience in corporate tax.
  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualification.
  • Strong UK tax technical skillset.
  • Good tax accounting knowledge and experience of reporting under IFRS.
  • Proficient knowledge of capital allowances.
  • Proficiency in Excel and an interest in tax technology.
  • Employment tax experience is desirable but not essential; however, a willingness and ability to learn new skills is required.
