Job Purpose
- Lead advisory work for a significant portfolio of personal tax clients, including tax compliance and planning projects.
- Monitor all commercial aspects of portfolio management for your selection of clients, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met.
- Build trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving.
- Oversee junior team members, including workflow management, reviewing work, and providing training.
- Support the compliance team with the preparation of computations where needed.
- Interpret changes to taxation legislation and provide trusted advisory to clients and colleagues.
- Champion your own professional development, undertaking regular training opportunities.
- Support business development strategies, including preparing proposals, actively seeking out opportunities, and assisting with marketing initiatives.

The Successful Applicant
- CTA, ACCA, or ACA qualified, or equivalent, with impressive experience in UK practice.
- Qualified by extensive experience would also be considered.
- A proven track record of autonomously managing a portfolio in practice.
- Excellent communication skills and sound attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and highly organised.
- A team player able to work closely with senior team members.
- Constructive support to junior team members.
- A can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn from an experienced team.
