Accounts Assistant Role Overview

As the Accounts Assistant, you will be working as part of a small team and be responsible for managing the purchase ledger and credit control process. You will work closely with and report into the Finance Manager.

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Processing invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Bank payments and reconciliations
  • Managing customer and supplier ledgers
  • Credit control and credit limit management
  • Processing credit cards and expenses
  • Other tasks and project work as required

Accounts Assistant Experience Required

  • Experienced in a similar accounts or admin role with a good work ethic, effective communication and time management skills.
  • Flexibility towards tasks with the ability to work effectively using own initiative
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm and a proactive approach to work
