This is a full lifecycle role with the client expecting someone to get involved in both R&D and customer projects. The chosenMechanical Design Engineer will be actively involved in customer liaison, blank sheet design, in-depth CAD work, technical drawings, design calculations, prototyping, test & validation,costings and over seeing their work into manufacture & assembly.
The product is varied and complex in nature so perfect for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys a challenge!
Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3D CAD Inventor (or similar)
- Knowledge of Transducers
- Complex assemblies 500+ components
