The Role:

  • An experienced Construction Manager, with a stable employment track record is required for this company, based in Warrington, dealing with large household name fiout companies.

What's required:

  • For all that’ll be your base, you'll be required to travel to sites across the country, as required, and there will be times where he or she will need to stay overnight.
  • The work will be largely, but not exclusively be based across England – but not impossible that, if they’re dealing with a client who has a job in Scotland or if Scotland need a hand, they may need to travel north of the border.
  • This person will act as the interface between the Regional Operations Manager and the site and will oversee all site operations.

The right person:

  • Ideally they are looking for someone who has previous worked in fast paced fitout environments.
  • Not all projects will be live environments but a lot of them will, so this person need to be presentable, able to deal with the client and the general public.
  • The client facing, client liaison, client relations aspect of the role is arguably the most important aspect and a strong general contracting background would also help.
  • A lot of the projects are fit out and refurbishment, however, they wouldn’t be averse to someone with a technical or professional background, rather than someone who has come up through a trades route.
