This role requires strong civil engineering expertise, site management experience, and familiarity with NEC4 contracts. You'll manage early-stage works, design integration, and key stakeholder relationships.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Principal Contractor under CDM 2015 regulations, overseeing Temporary Works.
  • Assist the Project Manager with scheduling and planning.
  • Maintain strict health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Manage risks, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Lead construction teams and subcontractors to meet project goals.
  • Oversee tender evaluations and control construction budgets.
  • Report progress, risks, and issues to senior leadership.
  • Support during commissioning phases and lead construction meetings.


About You:

  • Experience in EPC projects under NEC4 contracts, with a focus on civil/construction.
  • Utilities experience and ideally within Gas.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects in the Oil & Gas industry under CDM 2015.
  • HND/C or higher in construction/civils.
  • Strong knowledge of Process Safety and formal assessments like HAZID/HAZOP.
  • Certifications: CSCS, SMSTS, SHEA Gas, Temporary Works Coordinator.
  • Desirable: SCO 91, APMP accreditation.
