Belcan Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a EM09 Planner to work for one of our clients based in Warrington, UK. (This is an Outside IR35 contract and will require you to have a Ltd company in place)

Role Overview: Develop, operate, and monitor contract programmes to ensure projects are controlled and executed within budget and duration.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Produce necessary programmes to reflect overall contract requirements.
  • Monitor and update all contract programmes through discussions with relevant parties.
  • Predict and communicate critical path deviations for corrective action.
  • Optimize the use of approved software packages to meet responsibilities.
  • Incorporate emergent works into existing programmes effectively.
  • Report progress against programmes regularly, noting any delays and reasons.

Key Duties:

  • Produce and monitor programmes continually against performance.
  • Incorporate programme variations.
  • Report programme status to clients and management.
  • Anticipate critical path issues and advise on remedial actions.
  • Allocate estimated costs to activities and assist in programme baselining.
  • Develop and communicate resource requirements to meet project timescales.
  • Analyse Earned Value Performance on the project.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Relevant HNC/Degree qualification.
  • QCF Diploma Level 3/5 Planning.
  • APMP Practitioner.
  • Craft training, supported by relevant CPD training.

WIMS Requirements:

  • Competency-Based Interview.
