Hire Administrator

Responsibilities:

- Manage the entire hire process using Syrinx software, from booking to off-hire and charges.

- Keep accurate, current records of plant and equipment in the software, tracking availability and movements.

- Coordinate with operations for smooth equipment delivery and collection at customer sites.

- Work with sales to understand customer needs, and process orders efficiently.

- Respond quickly to inquiries, offering excellent service and resolving hire-related issues.

- Use Syrinx to generate accurate hire agreements, purchase orders, and other documents.

- Partner with Finance to ensure timely and correct invoicing.

- Maintain high data accuracy and integrity in the Syrinx system.

- Collaborate with team members to improve hire administration processes.

- Stay informed on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and support customers effectively.

Experience Required:
-Experience in hire administration or rental processing, ideally in construction or plant hire.

- Familiarity with Syrinx or similar plant hire software is preferred but not required.

-Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced setting.

-High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining quality records.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with teams and customers.

-Proactive problem-solving abilities to address issues swiftly.

-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

-Knowledge of plant and construction equipment terminology is a plus.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a positive attitude.

-Adaptable to changing priorities and eager to learn new software features.
