We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an exciting business based in Warrington.
This is a new role would suit a dynamic and ambitious candidate with previous experience in Accounts Payable .
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts receivable
- Credit control.
- Posting invoices,
- Reconciling statements and dealing with disputes
- Accounts payable:
- Managing and verifying supplier details
- Matching invoices against purchase orders
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Preparing monthly supplier payment runs
- Responding to supplier queries
- Accounts payable reporting
- Petty Cash management
- Processing of daily post
- Assisting on month-end process
- Scope for payroll to be added over time. Any prior knowledge of contractor payroll, timesheet management and CIS would be advantageous

Skills/Experience Required:
- CIS and experience with sub-contractors (desirable)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger role processing 200-300 invoices and timesheets weekly (essential)
- Prior experience in construction or property development (desirable) with experience of dealing with multiple entities (essential)
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of other MS Office packages (essential)
- Experience using Sage 50 or Sage 200 or similar accounting software (essential)
- Consistently and accurately meet month end deadline requirements (essential)
This role is being offered on a full time temp term of 3 months with both excellent earning potential and development opportunities.
