Laboratory Technician

Warrington

Temporary Position – 2 months

Monday – Friday (8am-4pm)

Reed Scientific are working with a materials company based in Warrington who have an immediate need for some temporary support within their testing laboratory. This is a temporary which will run until Christmas 2024.

Duties of the role include:

  • Performing laboratory testing on various materials in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring consumables are ordered and available within the laboratory
  • Performing calibration and verification checks on equipment where necessary
  • Reporting of results to supervisors

Skills/experience required:

  • Chemistry related degree
  • Previous industrial laboratory experience would be desirable
  • Previous materials science experience would be desirable either within degree modules or working in industry
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
