We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, payroll, and data entry, with proficiency in Sage 50 and Sage 50 Payroll.

Salary: 25,000.00 - 28,000.00 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry tasks
- Set up new suppliers and handle CIS verifications
- Add new employees to Sage 50 Payroll and Sage HR systems
- Manage company holidays using Sage HR
- Generate and issue client invoices
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Use Sage 50 for accounting processes
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all monthly employees
- Handle weekly and monthly supplier payments
- Address any payroll-related queries
- Reconcile supplier and bank statements
- Maintain accurate financial transaction records
- Support daily financial operations of the business
- Manage purchases and purchase orders
- Submit monthly VAT returns
- Submit monthly CIS returns
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Sage 50 accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry skills
- In-depth knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes
- Experience in running payroll efficiently
- Strong communication skills for working with both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ability to work well within a team
