People Solutions is seeking a Class 1 Driver for their client in Warrington, offering a pay range of £17.00 to £24.87 per hour depending on the shift and day of the week.
The role requires at least one year of Class 1 driving experience, along with a valid UK Category CE Licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
Drivers will be responsible for safely operating Class 1 vehicles, completing 3-4 store deliveries per day, and assisting with loading and unloading.
Additional benefits include on-site parking and canteen facilities, and candidates must pass a written and physical driving assessment, as well as a drug and alcohol test.
The position involves working 5-6 days a week, with start times varying between Monday and Sunday.

Rates of Pay

Mon - Fri Days: £17.00 per hour basic / Overtime (after 45 hours) £20.95 per hour
Nights: £18.46 per hour / Overtime (after 45 hours) £21.81 per hour
Sat and Sun Days: £23.81 per hour
Sat and Sun Nights: £24.87 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Driving various Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
Completing 3-4 store deliveries per day
Assist with loading and unloading of vehicle
Adhering to site specific risk assessments
Provide quality customer service
Ensure vehicles checks are completed before and after shift
Report any issues to line manager

Essential Skills

Valid UK Category CE Licence
Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
At least one years' Class 1 driving experience
No More than six points for MINOR offences and no MAJOR endorsements

Desirable Experience

Experience driving and making store deliveries would be desirable

Training

You must pass a written and physical driving assessment
Drug & Alcohol Test must also be passed
If the above passed, you will receive a full paid Induction
