Monday to Friday - 2.00 - 4.00 Start Times

PAY RATE: £14.00 - £17.00 PER HOUR

Rates of Pay:

• Basic: £14.00 per hour (0600-1800)
• Nights: £17.00 (1800-0600)

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles completing retail deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all goods are loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loaded and unloading of goods as needed.

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
• Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving Category C vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
• Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial

Training

• Driver's Assessment will have to be completed
• After successful Assessment there will be an induction
